Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 2 Person Tent Reviews
13 of 14 people found the following review helpful Best Lighntweight Backpacking Tent, July 13, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 Tent (Sports) Recently took this tent on a 30 mile backpack from Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley. It is easy to put up and well built. It's greatest advantage is it's lightweight at 2.2 pounds. Also like the clip design for attaching the fly to the tent and groundcloth. Yes it is expensive but where pounds count it comes through with flying colors. Only drawback is the internal stash hammock does not come with it and is a special order. Planning to take it on the John Muir Trail next month.

This tent comes in at just over 2 lbs , making the Fly Creek II an ultralight dream tent. The tent pitches fast, and hods up in fairly strong gusts on Maine coast islands(I kayak camp). I just finished my second season with this tent and it still feels and looks new.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful great tent!, August 29, 2011 This review is from: Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 Tent (Sports) I'm a 60 year old woman who likes to hike with my kids, this tent is a breeze on my back, a breeze to set up, and has stood up to any weather (I'm a Vermonter) -- I slept in it through Hurricane Irene and just happily read a book inside with no worries! I use a blow-up coleman twin mattress which fits fine and have room for my hiking stuff, the flap also adds a lot of room in dry weather.
