awesome tent, June 22, 2011 This review is from: Coleman 9-Person Family Cabin Tent - Grey (14'x10') (Misc.) I bought this tent several years ago. It is the best tent ever. I did not have any issues with mine having holes. To this day, none. My son is 6ft and can walk around with ease. The doors are great as we have little ones that like to go in and out. You don't have to zip and unzip, just open and close with velcro. The walls are straight so is like a real room. I fit my queen air mattress, a cot, a table, supplies, etc with plenty of room to spare. We are serious campers and we go at least twice a year for the last 20 years and I have owned many tents. This is by far the best one I have ever had. The price is great as well.
There will always be that one that somehow slipped thru the inspection hole, but don't let that first review scare you away. Coleman has always had a good name, and like with any company, they have their mistakes as well. It even has a doggy door and an electrical outlet opening. Both zippered.

We fit a queen air mattress and 2 twin with plenty of room for our bags of clothes as well. Oh and 2 dogs too!
second night we were camping, it rained and rained HARD. Horrible t-storm. Not a drop came through the tent. It passed with flying colors. I would recommend this tent to anyone looking for a family tent. Plenty of floor space and plenty of head room. My husband is 6' and had no problem walking around. IF I had to criticize something, it would be the hinged doors BUT you don't have to put the poles in and can use them as regular zipper doors. It's not even bad enough to down-grade my star rating. You'll be happy with this tent!

Dissapointed in the "Hinged Door" feature, March 5, 2012 This review is from: Coleman 9-Person Family Cabin Tent - Grey (14'x10') (Misc.) We just bought the Coleman Hampton Family Cabin today and set it up at home to check it out. My husband is 6'3" so he really prefers a tall tent and we have children so we have always had large "cabin style" tents. We thought we had found a great one, unfortunately, we decided we will return it tomorrow. I will try to explain the reasons why below to best help the next person interested in buying a large and tall family tent. Since we will not be camping in it, my review is based solely on interior/exterior features, design, ease of set up, etc.
First I will tell you what type of tent are replacing because this is what I am comparing my new tent to (for better or worse). We had a Columbia Cougar Flats family cabin style tent for 5 years that finally met it's demise. While I LOVED every feature of this tent (gear loft, cup holders, corner shelving, attached zippered room dividers) and exterior durability was great(seams/waterproofness/etc.), the zippers finally failed.
